Elizabeth Hamm, LMHC
At Ovington Therapy Services, my main goal is to create a safe space in sessions for clients to process and explore their emotions and thoughts. Each approach is tailored to the specific needs and goals of the client. I specialize in addressing anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, stress, and relationship issues in adults, offering a compassionate and personalized path towards healing.
I see our work together as a partnership, rooted in vulnerability and honesty. My role is to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your aspirations, and the steps needed for you to achieve your goals.
My love for psychology started at an early age, driven by a deep curiosity about the human mind. I enjoy listening to people’s stories and creating a space that helps them feel comfortable in opening up so they can explore and understand those stories themselves.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with children, teens, and adults in various settings, including schools, family sessions, group therapy, and individual counseling. These experiences have enriched my perspective and enhanced my ability to support clients at different developmental stages.
It is a great honor to earn someone’s trust and help guide them in understanding their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; it is one that I do not take for granted.
